Most of us are well aware of the importance of being hydrated, but sometimes drinking plain water just feels so boring. I’m embarrassed to admit I probably drink as little as half a litre a day. The recommended intake of water daily for a woman is 9 cups (2.2. litres) and men 13 cups (3 litres).

Every day you lose water through breathing, urine and bowel movements. For your body to function properly, you must reload your water supply by consuming water. However whenever I’m feeling tired my first thought is to reach for a diet coke or grab a coffee from Starbucks. However the reason I’m tired is probably because I’m dehydrated due to the lack of water I’m drinking. It’s that simple.

So I made it my goal and new years resolution to drink more water and try to reach my recommended daily intake EVERY day. This is when I discovered Aquatiser a fruit infused water bottle.

My first time using it I kept it very simple and put some fresh raspberries one of my favorite fruits because they are low carb yet still delicious (be cautious if your pregnant though because they are proven to stimulate labor!).  I put the bottle in the fridge for a few hours to keep it nice and cool and let the water absorb the raspberry infusion and then took it with me for an outdoor gym workout.
